Supporting the future of talent, one hoof at a time
At Geo we are all about investing in future talent, so when one of our valued brokers approached us with a plea to support his eight-year-old daughter’s ambition to represent her country, we raced to help.
At Geo we are all about investing in future talent, so when one of our valued brokers approached us with a plea to support his eight-year-old daughter’s ambition to represent her country, we raced to help.
Amber Lewis, daughter of our broker Chris Lewis from Caleb Roberts, was selected to represent England in the Endurance GB Home International pony event in Ireland. Clearly a future Olympian in the making, and with our keen interest at Geo in all things agriculture and sport, how could we resist helping to make her dreams come true?
Geo was pleased to donate a brand-new endurance numnah to Amber for her to train on as she works towards her goals.
Jaime Swindle, CEO at Geo, commented: “We were so proud to make this contribution to Amber’s future in horse-riding, and are beyond excited to see what this clearly tenacious and talented young lady does next. What a spectacular achievement for an eight-year-old to make, representing their country at such a young age. Congratulations, Amber, and best of luck for the future!”
Chris Lewis, proud dad and Senior Account Executive at Caleb Roberts Insurance Services, commented: “It really was a dream come true for the whole family to see Amber especially singled out to represent her country in this way. Never in our wildest dreams did we expected to be in this position. The experience has given Amber the passion and fire in her belly back for riding, after a riding accident which resulted in her face being trodden on, left her confidence at rock bottom. We are so incredibly proud of Amber and can’t wait to see what the next year brings.”
Congratulations to Amber (and her pony Zeta), from all of us at Geo – and Amber, if you decide you’d like to try a career in insurance, there’s an apprenticeship here with your name on!
