Marie Thomas-White and her first 42 days at Geo
It’s not quite the first 100 days but Marie Thomas-White joined the Geo Construction team 6 weeks ago as Head of Construction and we were keen to catch up on her experience so far.
The early days
“Excitement and anticipation filled my first days as the new Head of Construction at Geo Underwriting. I was eager to dive into this new role and make an impact.
One of my initial priorities was to thoroughly understand the organisational structure of Geo Underwriting and our role as part of the Ardonagh Group. This was crucial for aligning my team.
I set out to establish relationships with key stakeholders. Building these connections will be vital for driving progress.
Transitioning to a new environment required a flexible mindset. I was open to learning and adjusting my approach to fit Geo Underwriting’s unique culture and processes.
I was really pleased to spend time with the Construction team and am so impressed at the level of skill and knowledge our underwriters have.
The team spirit that they have is fantastic and they are truly aligned in their decision making and our ambitions to be the MGA of Choice.

I am looking ahead to the future. Together, we will build upon the momentum we have gained and write the next chapter of our company’s remarkable journey. I am excited for the coming months and look forward to continuing to build on the already strong foundations that we have in Geo Construction.”
