At Geo we are passionate about providing protection for rural based businesses, supporting the rural economy. We are all about providing exceptional service to the agricultural market and putting the customers at the centre of everything we do. 

We were recently approached by Fiveways Insurance Group, a Bravo Networks member to see if we could support them in their recent acquisition. The broker had recently acquired a business which came with a 25 year old Woodland scheme. This successful scheme provides property owners liability and legal expenses cover for owners of private woodlands in the UK. 

The Fiveways team approached Geo’s agriculture team to see if they could support them in the block renewal of the policy. 

The Geo team have a really strong background in rural based businesses, with lots of experience of public liability risks associated with owning land that may have bridle paths going through it.  

We knew that we had a suitable policy which could be tailored for the needs of woodland owners. We were hugely excited by the opportunity and were happy to support the Fiveways team. We engaged with our insurer partners, who trusted our expertise and were happy to support us.  

As a result, we were able to turn this enquiry into reality within two months, including finding solutions for the clients who had adverse features on the land and required extra specialist underwriting. 

In this time we have built up a great relationship with the Fiveways team and are pleased to be supporting them in the expansion of this scheme to other trusts and organisations.  

Together, we have identified many additional opportunities to explore and allow Fiveways to develop their business even further.
